I am quietly progressing in my search for a GMC. I found a local Eleganza
that has some appealing features but the interior poses a problem. The
original bunk beds have been replaced by a non-converting couch. The
dinette behind the passenger seat (i.e. two benches with a table between)
has also been removed to create more space. I need to sleep five
(including three kids) so the original fold-up bunk bed arrangement is
essential. None of the original parts are with the coach. My question
is: how much hassle/effort would it be to restore the original layout? Is
there a market for the old bunk beds and dinette? Is this a realistic
project or should I move on?

Still daydreaming about a GMC...
