Any tricks to removing the toll windows? P.O. made a meager attempt to stop the low of water by ample application of silicon caulk. Producing not only an ugly mess, but an ineffective solution.
Any hidden fasteners or gotchas to worry about?

Tom,
I will ask Jim B to get on here and explain how to do it .
Keep in mind that the sliding glass need to have a place for water to
bleed through to the outside through the slot. So punch a hole there so it
will weep through.

JimB just advised me that when the new cockpit windows come in, he will put
up pictures to illustrate how to do it properly.
Hopefully the windows will be delivered before the new year.

Tom,

The screws are located (from the inside) on top, the rear under a molding cover,
and on the bottom under the side dash panel. The side panel needs removal, the screws for it are (3) in the rear covered by the wall panel
that is slid into a groove on the side dash panel, on the bottom, and (1) on top close to the rear windshield post.
On the driver side (1 or 2) at the firewall under the dash.
On the pass side (2) screws between dash and side panel, reach in from the glove box to feel for those.
To test use more water than a very heavy thunder storm would provide.

This is the way my setup is. When I made the new wall panels I held them short of covering the side panels with a cover molding.
Now it's easy removing the side panels.

Heavy thunderstorm was 6 inches in about one hour. Mobile and this area is about the wettest place in the country. Gulf of Mexico influence.

Compared to the actual wettest spot in the USA (on Kauai - avg of 450"+ per year!) or even the wettest spot in the continental USA (quite a few places in the Pacific NW get 100"+ per year) - Mobile, AL is downright dry!

But Mobile is likely the wettest spot with any kind of population - Seattle only gets a bit over half of what Mobile receives...

Those torrential downpours are hard to get used to...
