It is Monday morning here and only a hand full of the coaches remain. Weather was spectacular and the Blue Angel's as thrilling as ever, especially when they are right over your head here on Treasure Island in the middle of SF Bay! Too bad development may make this the last year for this exceptional GMC event. Several interested new buyers wandered by as we continue to see a successful generational change in ownership. Our thanks to Desmond who for the last half dozen years has worked with the City of SF to pull this event together. It is technically a car show with GMC motor homes the only "cars" eligible to be shown. As such we have been able to stay in our coaches all weekend even though the City does not allow overnight parking on their streets. Peter Huber offered his swan song to the GMC community in the form of a delicious steak BBQ served right off of the back of his pickup. Thanks, Peter! The local Yacht Club also had a pig and salmon roast on Saturday night so we were well fed. Sorry to see this event go away.
