Bob,
Welcome to the group, family, cult, asylum....
Did you manuals with it?? If no, they can all be downloaded at http://www.bdub.net/GMCLinks.html and the price is real good. Look around while you are there.
While there, stop at the registry and send John Shotwell a note so we can keep track of your coach's history.
You have included most in this post, but for everybody benefit, please add to your sigfile your real name, a short coach description including major mods and a geographic reference. Yes, this is mostly there in this post, but that way it will be there in every post. I do love the tag line in you sigfile. You can leave that.
You have just joined a community like very few others. It is a collection of wonderful helping friends. It is much like that of the watermen that are my world. For that reason, I have taken to welcoming new owners much as any new owner or vessel would be welcomed there. So,
May the Good Lord bless this coach and all those that set forth within her.
Welcome Bob
Matt

Wanted a GMC for a long time and the time came two weeks ago. We picked up a 1978 Transmode in NC.
I have been watching the Forum and finally decided to step in. We love our "ESCAPE POD".
Needs some mechanical work but all else seems good. I have a million questions and really need a mentor.
I am in Chesapeake Virginia. The Escape Pod needs a header gasket, which I have ordered. When I get that fixed I could drive it to anyone
close willing to help me determine needed work and explain the operation of the systems.
