Got to thinking about towing on the way back from Rapid City. When I pull my open trailer with a car on the trailer. My GVW is about 17,000 lbs. I then get around 8.6 MPG. When I'm towing Linda's Chevy Uplander lift van on a dolly. My GVW is also around 17,000 lbs. On our last trip pulling the Uplander. I got 10.122 MPG. The only thing that seems to be. Is that the Uplander fills the air stream of the GMC better by it's length. So is a longer toad better then a short one? Bob Dunahugh78 Royale Convertible78 Royale Mouse House
