A busy successful day. After recently rewiring the galley cabinet and abandoning the original antenna jacks, I managed to get a few things done in preparation for a very short trip this weekend. The air ride compressor has not work right since we got the coach. I was able to mount one of two new compressors on a wooden board, to be replaced with metal at a later date. Got it all plumbed and wired with a new circuit breaker. I discovered the previous Dana pump's intake was plumbed to the cruise control's dump valve on the brake pedal. This leads to the fact that it looks like the cruise control is plumbed to where the intake hose was meant to go.

Hmmm. Is that possibly the gremlin that kept the cruise control from working? Maybe I'll be able to find out on Friday.

Also reran the temporary choke power wire DJ installed through the firewall and to the fuse box. I didn't forget to label it. Thanks go out to DJ who got me a great rebuilt carb in place of the incorrect one we had, fixed the choke, and replaced the rubber fuel hose over the manifold with an insulated metal one. Probably saved us from having an unexpected coach fire.

The knowledge and caring of those who work on these coaches is very encouraging.

Tonight, clean up of the cruise control, removal of the remote macerator switch, mount the air pump intake under the dash, and label the new circuit for the pump. Can't figure out why I would want to start the macerator from driver's seat.

Finally feel like I might be making progress. After the trip I begin on the brakes. I think the master cylinder is bad and will just replace everything except the front calipers which were done by the PO with the 1-ton upgrade. It will be great to be able to stop reliably and go on longer trips than just a few miles.

Happy Wednesday everyone!
