Hello,

I was pleasantly surprised last winter when I discovered that my furnace still functioned in the GMC. I do not use the coach at all in the winter, but I would like to preserve the furnace in case it is something I would like to use in the future. My question is a bit of a philosophical one. Should I run the furnace a few times each winter as a sort of maintenance or should I just ignore it. Which would theoretically give my furnace longer life? I doubt it was used much by the original owner so I am tempted to keep up the ignoring.

I think keeping it exercised is better. But if you run it, run it long enough to fully evaporate the combustion moisture.

Yes, and keep critters out of it
Rust insects and bad curcuit boards are the most common problems
