I had to go under the floor, and I wanted to move the fan blade to look at something I couldn't move it, so I put more in it and the belts moved too. Maybe??
We were having a hard time talking (and I already don't hear well)to each other underway.
Well, I worked the parts book and the phone and found a replacement for a Delco 15-4223. I selected this one specifically by the fact that it was what I could get right now. It seems to be a little bit more sensitive than I might like, but it sure does beat full roar.

Matt - headed for fuel west of Des Moines

So you deleted the "super severe duty cooling option". I'm thinking 1.5 MPG improvement. Safe travels.
