Thinking of the previous post on the 73 GMC for auction.
It has many valuable, no longer available parts. We need to start a recommended list of things to grab from a coach that is going to become beer cans.
Examples: Spindles, Hubs, Knuckles, Axles, rear brake drums, the curved glass over the toll windows, rear window glass, generator and propane doors, lower steering column, U-Joint inside the engine compartment on steering column, carburetor, intake manifold, exhaust manifold (passenger side - 455), bumpers, radiator.
I am sure that there are more items that cannot be easily sourced. Please add to the list. Perhaps we can capture a "recommended" removal item list. Derelict coaches are showing up. No sense in letting good needed parts go to the junk yard. It would help to have extended guide lists for that occasion we get to disassemble a coach.
