Really, I had given up on the Revcon some time ago. But the bride would like to see it resurrected and projects she supports have better funding.

Back in the late 60's when Scott Hall sketched the Revocn on a napkin he used off the shelf components from many sources (mostly GM)

He converted the chevy 5 lug pattern to a 5 by 8" pattern which was till common on trucks back then.

I'm wondering if i can find some other vehicle that used the same spindle and hub but with an 8 lug wheel.

I've searched a lot of trailer sites looking at spindle dimension with no luck. Spoke to an engineer at Dexter who made it clear she would not help me in any way shape or form (but with a very polite midwest accent)

Any suggestions?

The spindle is 5.25" - 3" section 1.5" dia. 1/8" bevel to 1.25 dia. section 1.25" long followed by 1" of thread.

Grateful for any insight

Sure wish Dan was here to mock me.
