John R and I went and looked at this GMC that was on Craig's List for $900. Had been parked in this location for about 30 years, since last licensed on the road.
Someone at one time spent lots of money on her, then moved to Florida and allowed her to rot.
Mice have been living inside the coach, droppings and seed hulls everywhere. I doubt it would be worth the effort to save her. I'm not going to do it.

Brake and gas petals seem to support the mileage on the speedometer of 15K.
I believe that the owners are going to have to pay someone to haul this one away.

The body looks solid and if the frame is not rotten then you have a good starting point for a rebuild after you clean out the previous tenets. And to the other stuff on the coach you're going to replace or referb anyway! Look that it has been under cover and not expose to direct sunlight.

Tom,
Did you happen to grab the TZE for John Shotwell and the registry?

TZE was grabbed and I am told that it was sent to John. This was done by someone else. The current "owners" (real can of worms for titling purposes) purchased an abandoned piece of property with the intention of flipping it. (Nice place in the woods, with a little money to be spent). The GMC was under a lean to that kept most of the elements off of it. The coach was last licensed in Colorado in 1984. No telling where the title is. The people that brought the coach to Florida are both deceased and have been for a long time. There was an abandoned Packard Bell 80286 computer inside the coach for last use information. Along with an ancient analog cellular telephone, when they were the size of a brick.
Latest information, the "owners" (no title = no ownership) are paying $300 to haul it to a junk yard. I have no further information on the coach, or it's final disposition. It is located about 120 miles from me, and I do not wish to make another trip.
As I recollect, the TZE is 064V1000267 or 263.

That one is a tough call. A good frame on the east coast is a shame to waste.
There was a coach in my neighborhood that suffered the same fate. Spent $$$$ on it, took it on one trip, then let it rot in the backyard. Was infested with black widows when I looked at it.
