Again this year, Sam the BWD and I will be at Wekiwa Springs State Park in Apopka, FL 7-14 December for the annual AKC brouhaha on Orlando. Several GMCers will be joining us for a 'no host rally' that week. I threaten to barbecue Almost Famous Chicken one night, we will likely spend a day at Bounds' place picking his brain, and as long as pockets will stand at Skycraft one day. Spouses who aren't motivated by GMC maintenance and/or surplus stores will likely figure their own entertainment. It looks as if several people from the area will be there with ideas and directions. Someone (Tom perhaps?) says he will spearhead a potluck or two with pulled porkpig barbecue. So far, those of us who have reserved space in the park are in the site 1 - 30 circle. Reserve soon, before the park fills up. The more the merrier.
This is also a chance to meet all of the AKC recognized breeds at the Convention Center, every national breed club has been given space and asked to bring representatives of their breed for the public to meet. nWanna see a Lagotti Romagnoli? Here's your chance. Wanna hear that pronounced properly? I can do it for you. Wanna see a Xoloitzcuintli? Here's your chance. Pronunciation? You're on your own with that one. You can of course meet a Kuvasz (Sam) at the RV park at Wekiwa Springs.
