I rode my motorcycle down North Carolina Route 12 on the Otter Banks barrier islands from Corolla to Hatteras Island, about 200 miles round trip. What a nice surprise to see two of these beauties on the road. One was North bound near the KOA Campground and the other was South bound approaching the ferry at the end of Hatteras Island. Of course I honked and waved. One was towing a jeep and the other looked like it was towing a Durango or something similar.

On the way back I stopped at the KOA and it looked like a really nice facility, especially for kids.

I was the one heading North, towing a Suzuki Samurai.
We stayed at the Frisco Woods Campground.
I will post a trip report when I get the pics off the camera.
I did not see the other one, but it would have been cool, we were on the look out.
