Yes, you can use the stock fan blade.
The 40108 is equivalent to what I have.
I am not familiar with 40107 but o saw pictures in the net and it looks smaller than the 40108. It is also lower in price

There is also a 40109. I was going to call AC/Delco but their offices are closed until Monday. They could tell us the difference in the models.

If you want the OEM spec clutch recommended by AC Delco engineering to match our fan pitch, diameterand original part number then go to the "heavy Duty" 15-4208 /15-4216. It uses the 7/16" stock belts. The 15-4644 "Severe Duty" specs say it should use 1/2" belts. A lot of people here do use it with the 7/16" belts successfully on the GMC.

15-4208 / 15-4216 - Heavy Duty - quiet
15-4644 - Severe Duty - noisier

It is your choice.
