Greetings everyone!

We joined the GMList several months ago to learn more about the GMC motorhome ownership experience. My wife and I are looking forward to opportunities to see coaches in person, as we start down the road to ownership. While is the hot, monsoon season here in Arizona, we imagine many GMCs will be heading south as the weather cools - any suggestions for good places for newbies to meet current owners with their coaches (e.g. Yuma)?

Thanks for your time,

Paul and Cathy

If you ever find yourself in the Mesa area, drop me a line. I'd be happy to show you my coach (a '78 Royale center kitchen with a whole lot of updating). There are quite a few owners in the Phoenix east valley area, and I know for a fact at least several of them are very helpful to would-be owners.

Oh yeah, and your plan to buy a GMC is a good one... we've never regretted it. It's kind of fun showing up at an RV park populated with plenty of six-digit coaches, and having everyone come over to see ours!

Hi Paul, welcome to the prospective cult.

There are already many GMC's near you. Check out the Blacklist (this is a list of folks willing to help other GMCers...named after it's founder, Roger Black):

It's a near certainty that anyone on the BlackList will be more than happy to let you see their coach and talk GMCs with you until your ears fall off.

The GMC west coast club is having their fall rally up in Pueblo, CO next month (17th-21st I think). This would be a GREAT opportunity to really see and understand what this community is all about.

There are several GMCs in the Tucson area. We live in Marana and would be happy to show you our coach any time. There is a local club that has several GMCs - it is called the GMC Saguaro Jetset but the GMCs are getting to be outnumbered. We have several rallies in Arizona throughout the Winter. The web site is www.gmcsj.com - not always right up to date but rally schedules will show on there when they are published. I am sure Carl, another Tucson GMCer, will chime in here soon too. Call me 520-744-1775 or email armand@minniebiz.com

Like Armand said, My wife, Kathy, and I are Tucson GMCers and would be happy to show you our coach and answer questions, or generally talk GMCs any time it is convenient for both of us. We both work full time, so weekends would be best for us, but we have some evenings open as well. My cell phone number is 5two0- two40-983six, email-carljr3b at yahoo dot com. Call any time. When rally season (October or November) starts, we will probably have a few rallies in the Tucson area or within 100 miles of Tucson.
