Has anybody used Keensert's to repair center exhaust manifold bolt threads? they require a 1/2 13 tapped hole to thread into and looking at the head I'm not sure there is enough meat there to drill it out that much.

One side was already done with what looks like a Timesert and I'm not sure about putting another one back in where one has failed, and I don't have that size of kit. The Keensert uses standard tap sizes so it needs a bigger hole for the insert which fixes my problem of the failed insert but might be taking to much material.

What have you guys used?

Thanks
