The control switch on my Dometic heat pump went Dixie a while back. Dometic will make me one for 35 scoots plus shipping, might be able to ship in a month. One of the RV places had the regular (non heat pump) switch in stock for 15 delivered. 8 position instead of twelve. OFF, 3 FAN, OFF, 3 COOL. Fits just fine. Will require one each toggle switch to run the pump valve, then positions will be COOL/HEAT and FAN. I ran a truth table on the new switch connections, repaired the burnt wires and connectors, and fired it up. Two fan speeds, with or without compressor. So, I need to do some figgerin'. Luddite that I am, rather than analyze positions vs what happens vs switch contacts, I believe I'll just hie myself to the roof and write down the three fan wires, the compressor wire, and the valve wire and go from there. I have two reversed someplace. It does, however, blow cold and the switch doesn't overheat.

Note - these things, like the Onans, have Molex clone connectors. As soon as I get by the parts place or Skycraft, I'll get a sack full of the McCoy so standard Molex pins will fit. I have an Onan board which needs new wires, it's gonna have to have a 9 pin socket and female pins sent back with it. I can't find the outlaw pins this side of Onan. No idea what they'd want for them.
