After doing a complete rear brake job with new shoes and hardware, plus fluid flush, and an 80mm caliper upgrade for the front with PFC carbon metallic pads, I finally got to go out this afternoon and bed in the brake pads. Did several stops, with light pressure, medium pressure, and hard pressure, from 50 to 30 (light) and 65-35 on medium and heavy. Followed with a cool down period, basically getting back to the house with as little brake usage as possible.

After pulling in the driveway, I used my IR thermometer to check the drum temps. Wondering if I have cause for concern...

Passenger Front: 140
Passenger Rear: 160
Driver Front: 250
Driver Rear: 170

The DF seems like a real outlier. Or am I making more of this than I should?

I cleaned and replaced the four rear bearings when everything was apart.

Thoughts?
