It looks as if everyone keeps their clothes on. The SF pride parade includes many people who, although proud, ought not to share nudity outside a darkened room.

I'll admit to averting my eyes from the mirror after showering. I belong in the darkened room set!

Oh please! Let's stick to GMCs and our travels (as the original poster was doing) and keep the religiosity out of here.

Gentlemen,
This site is for the discussion of the GMC Classic motorhome. It is NOT for the discussion of alternate lifestyles. If you feel that you must continue to discuss alternate life styles either for or against go to one of the multitude of sites that are available, just not here! This discussion should be consider closed.

JR, I think you are partially correct. ...but the site isn't only about
the GMC motorhomes. That is only half of the sum. The other half is also
about the people. I'm sort of a new guy here, only been into GMCs for the
past 13 -14 years. I can say that I can count on one hand the number of
folks that I have met here that I would say that I don't like or feel comfortable
with (and still have a thumb and a finger or two left over). We are not all
the same. We all have different pasts, upbringings and outlooks. I wouldn't have
it any other way. I can respect anyone if respect is given in return. When I needed
help it was always given. The people here and in the total GMC community as a whole
are great. I enjoy the present bunch, look forward to meeting the future GMCers, and
really miss those that have gone on before in the past.

Now I'll get off my soap box.

Be aware that some folks find such comments equally offensive...........Judge not, lest ye be judged. Rolling Eyes

As for Amsterdam....Rembrandts "Night Watch" at the Rijksmuseum is worth a visit and I can recommend the waterbus tour of the habor.....

I’m curious to know what it’s like driving a GMC in Europe. I’m not well traveled, but our short time in Portugal showed me some rather narrow roads (although the full-sized busses didn’t seem to care!) Is it likely you could turn down a long winding narrow road and become a cork in a bottle??

Then again, I’ve been on roads in Providence and Boston that were far too narrow for my comfort even in the rental car!

Driving the gmc in europe is absolutely no problem. Whereever the garbage truck goes I can go
Only problem I have encountered was steep wet coble roads that Olga sliped on.
Ofcourse there are roads limited to 3500 kg but they are well signposted. Mostly in small French villages
Just today we were driving narrow country roads, where meet the other cars and trucks very carefully . A few narrow bridges, but no problems except for the occasional whine from my codriver.

...driving narrow country roads, where meet the other cars and trucks very carefully ...
When I was living in England the main road of my daily commute was closed one day and the detour was a narrower country road. I was driving a Hyundai Accent and was comfortable if oncoming cars were about the same size. A truck would have crowded me some.

I was a few hundred feet behind a tractor trailer. I saw another tractor trailer coming in the oncoming lane. I thought that it was going to be interesting as they would have to almost come to a stop and inch by each other. Neither one slowed down from about 60 MPH. You would have been hard pressed to fit a sheet of paper between them as they went by each other.

When I was in Europe and Middle East with the Army, we drove 2 1/2 and 5 ton
trucks with no problems. Just have to pay attention to weight and height
restriction (learn international signage). You learn and get used to it.
Makes driving a GMC MH EZ PZ here in North America.
