There is a post of a Honda EV-4010 for sale on craigslist in the swap meet section of the forum. That reminded me that I have been meaning to take some measurements to see if one can actually be shoehorned into the compartment of a 23' with the correct orientation for servicing, without requiring slides.

The manual at http://www.bdub.net/manuals/Honda_EVD6010_Installation.pdf says the EV-4010 is 25.6 X 19.0 X 14.2 L X W X H

I measured the compartment on my 1973 23' Sequoia.

It is right at 16.25" high. The spec on the EV-4010 says 14.2" high.
The door is 20-1/2" wide. There is room to the left of the door opening on the inside, and to the right.
The compartment is right at 25-1/2" deep at the bottom. The spec on the EV-4010 says 25.6", or a little less than 1/4" too long to fit lengthwise.

I mocked up the dimensions of the EV-4010 and the compartment from my 23' on graph paper. The EV4010 could fit in my compartment if slid in and rotated as it is inserted, with about an inch to spare in the back. IF it could then be bolted down and connected up, it would still be serviceable from the door.

There would be 2" on top and 1" behind for sound deadening and heat insulation. I think the door louver might have to be moved forward for correct air flow.
