Hi Rob

To give credit where credit is due I think it important to point out that the Coos Bay, OR, rally was hosted equally by three clubs working together - GMCWS, Cascaders and 49ers. I personally think multi-club events are the future for all our larger rallies. That allows the rally to take on a different look and feel, have more and newer people involved, and reduce the work load for all involved. I think one reason we see only a handful of newer, younger members at our large rallies is the predicability of the format, events and programs. Sameness and predictability may win loyalty points for ones existing customers but they do little to attract new customers.

This is also, I believe, one reason for the popularity of social media interaction rather than discussion format forums among our younger GMC owners. The social media sites promote spontenaity, everyone can have an equal voice and no one needs to be confronted with a long winded expanation when all they want is a nudge in the right direction. It is the same phenomina that leads to a 2 minute video of a frog with a firecracker in it’s mount easily garnering more viewership than a NY Times best selling book.

Jerry,

Hey, I'm 68 and considered my self lucky that I even remembered it was in Coos Bay! :-o!

Note some of the other emails I've sent regarding the oil flow presentation of late stating "at a GMCMI Convention" I couldn't
remember which one it was or where it was! ;-)

I mean no disrespect, however, I think the response below addresses the "Facebook" thread more than Matt loosing a rear wheel and
the tool required to replace it.

Regards,
