The GMC Tidewater Crabs will gathering in Montross, VA this weekend at Westmoreland State Park. We don't have any spots available for camping but we'd love to meet some new friends if any GMCers (or prospective GMCers) are in the area and would like to stop by to visit. We'll be there most of the day Friday, all day Saturday and depending on the weather all day Sunday as well.

Thanks to all of the Tidewater crabs for making us so welcome and show Julie and I their Coaches.

We saw several arrangements that we had not seen before and got some ideas to think about.
Weather was great and we enjoyed the evning concert in the park...and the delicious cupcakes Smile

One question I forgor to ask. Folks had large mats under their awnings.....where do they get stored when travelling.

We had a slightly interesting trip back to NC on Sunday. Came out of our accomodation and found front tire flat with a small nail in it.
Blew it back up with out portable pump/jump starter and it stayed up reasonably well. No where in that part of VA was open to get new tire so we drove carefully the 50 miles to Fredricksburg where a Goodyear place was open and got a new tire. Old one was 7 days outside its warranty!

We purchased a great mat carrying bag from Camping World with a zipper. We
place
the mat in it and place in the back of the Honda. Keeps everything compact,
neat and clean.

http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/good-sam-patio-mat-carry-bag/69095
actually on sale for only $12.99

The "flat tire" problem is mainly why I purchase tires (and batteries) from Wal-Mart. They are always near by and open. From the rally location, there are 24 Wal-Marts within a 50 mile radius.

Yeah that was my first plan too....however the two "super" walmarts nearest, and they were still 20+ miles, did not do tires......
I thought it strange as the one near my house in NC does tires and I thought they all did (and I called both)
