I have a year old engine battery, combinner and yes sad to say buzz box .
Very large,(physically the size of 3 normal batteries)house battery.
House battery does not appear to be charging based on inside gauge . (11 volts after plugged in for better part of 2 afternoons)
All input reference to best place to get replacement. If better to use multiple batterys verse one big one.
thanks

Put a regular charger on that battery and see what it does... the buzz box
does just that...buzzes but doesn't charge !

So engine batt is 1 yr. How old is house batt? Does it charge off the engine alt? You need a meter to read voltages under the different conditions and it is then an easy diagnosis rather than throw parts at it. The Buzz will charge the battery, but into the 13s and then just sit there and boil it off over time without taking it up into the 14s , then relaxing into a lower rest state. That is the problem as they are not smart. Best to unplug after a few hours and let the engine finish the charge driving until you get a smart Convertor. If you charge with a smart portable charger to completion you can then assess the battery, if it will in fact charge. Add distilled water to indicator line before beginning.

Are you going by the voltmeter reading at the entry door? That meter isn't always accurate I would check the coach and starting batteries while plugged in with an accurate meter and compare readings before condemning the battery and before going further in diagnosing the problem.

My buzz box was only putting out 8.8v when I retired it.
Also, I suspect that very large battery is a semi type starting battery instead of a deep cycle type. They dont work that well for long in that role
2 6v golf cart type wired in series will give you 12v and work better.
