On my last outing I had a rear tire blow out. Usually that would not be a all that bad except that the tire then damaged the airbag. When the back end of these hit bottom, well that was not a fun day.
I put 4 x 4 below airbag to hold up side for me to get home.
I usually just block up from below at rear suspension and let air out of bags while it is parked for any time. This time I blocked up the good side same as bad side. block is not attached, just sitting there, wedged in due to weight of rear on it.
Since there are shocks on rear, (is there a practical way to test if shocks are any good?), Blocks take away leveling, otherwise should I expect them to cause any ill effects? I have a spare bag, but wonder if there is a way to protect it so that same can not happen again. Tire that blew was fairly new, inflated properly, and not out of date. Now wife not to excited about going anywhere.
thanks
