The saga continues. I added 10 gallons on new gas and still can't keep the 455 running. excellent vac reading and then boom a stall. I noticed a small
papery type object in my container of gas that was filled by the pump when the line was off the carb. I was testing the fuel pump for delivery.
Anyways, not sure what to think. Sounds good until stall. I squirt a little gas in the carb and it wants to keep running. I wonder if my idle jets are
dirty! The carb is coming off again for the fourth time! Putting on an electric choke and see if a cleaning helps. Thanks for all the advice.

I say 10 minutes and at full operating temp. I pulled the carb off and the intake has carbon buildup and the lower gasket seems like it is saturated quite abit with gas. I truly feel that my intake manifold is fine (cracks) since it still wants to run if yadd gas to the carb as it starts to stall. Now I am wondering if the excess carbon lining my intake could be a problem. It seems like it is running great until it stalls. Thanks

Is your carb leaking out of the plugs in the bottom of the float bowl?

Yes it appears that it is. I pulled the carb AGAIN and the lower gasket was saturated. Getting an electric choke, cleaning and well plugs filled AGAIN. I swear I hope this is the remedy! Thanks for the input.
