G'day,

Here's a rough schematic that can be used to test when the oil filter bypass is open. If anybody is interested in performing the
testing I would be more than happy to find, purchase, the parts necessary to do the testing.

I would do it myself, however, I've got too many irons in the fire at this time to do it.

G'day,

Tom Pryor has volunteered to perform the oil flow testing on a test stand that uses the following parts:

1) A freshly rebuilt 455 engine with a flat tappet Comp Cam

2) OEM or JR Slaten oil cooler lines

3) OEM radiator re-cored by Jim Bounds

I will send him the fittings and instrumentation he will need to perform the tests. It will take awhile before I can gather those parts and he is ready to do the tests so be patient and stay tuned to this station!

If anyone has any suggestions as to how the test should be conducted please send me a PM or email me robmueller at iinet dot net dot au. MANY heads are WAY better than one!
