Okay, What is the general opinion of the required torque for the Eagle Rim? Looked at American Eagle web site, where they buried the information, the range seems to be 95 - 115 ft/pd. With an important recheck at 25 miles.
I'm going to crank in 120, this is using the American Eagle Mag style lugs with washers, and a very slight amount of anti-seize on the stud. I did use 140 on my steel rims with Alcoa lug nuts.

Tom,
My "opinion" is to speak with the horses mouth and call Eagle to verify what the torque should be and if the studs should be
lubricated or not.
You could wind up "talking" to the other end here! ;-)

I set mine at 120, with a touch of grease on the stud which the nut spreads lightly. I hit them with the torque wrench before I head out, part of the 'get ready' list. So far, the only one which has fallen off did so with the drum still firmly attached.

That should have read 'thread,' not string. Oh well, a string is just a fat thread, right?
