just a thought for those installing the 460 ford rear lip seal rather then the old rope seal. i was just setting my replacement crank in place and became aware the lip rides dead center on the serrated part of the crank this wasn't a problem on the old crank as the serration was well worn but this crank was not worn. i had purchased a genuine ford seal from summit but it would have leaked if i didn't notice. Mondello has a double lip seal that will work OK maybe Jim has one too. At any rate you need to use a double lip seal or have the serration milled off the crank if it isn't worn smooth.not a lover of oil leaks.
