I am selling my '94 Sidekick tow vehicle. The Sidekicks / Trackers are a very popular tow vehicle within the GMC Community so I am posting it here before I post it for sale locally.

The features for the Kick are:

JLX Model
Power Windows / Locks
4 wheel Drive with manual lock out hubs (I have auto locking hubs, if desired but they are not recommended for towing)
4 Speed Manual
4 cyl, 16 valve OHC engine
168,000 miles
4 door
Tires are about 5 or 6 years old with good tread remaining
New paint about 3 years ago.

General information about the Sidekick. I pulled a Jeep wrangler for a couple of years but changed to the Kick because of the weight reduction. The Kick weighs approximately 2400 pounds. The Sidekick is a very capable off-road vehicle. In fact, I think in some situations it can perform better that a Wrangler.

I am leaving the Blue OX base plates and the US Gear Unified Braking System installed on the vehicle. The US Gear System in physically installed on the vehicle so does not have a box that needs to be put in and taken out ever time you hook-up or unhook the vehicle. Just hook up, plug in the harness and you are ready to go.

The Kick is 21 years old. It is in excellent shape but has a few minor issues. The interior is fair with the seat upholstery in great shape but the door panels have some sun / age damage. There is some gear whine from rear differential. Cruise Control does not work. I bought this Sidekick in California and it had spent most of it's life in the desert near Victorville. The reason I mention this is that Sidekicks / Trackers are notorious for rusting. This Sidekick does not have any rust!

I have posted some pictures here and if you are interested in the Kick, I can provide you with more.

This Sidekick is ready to hook up and go with the included base plates and tow brakes. Base plates run between $400 to $500 new and the tow brakes are over $1000.00 new plus it would cost more to have them installed. I have looked up Sidekicks on AutoTrader and the average price for 1992 to 1996 Sidekicks is $3900 which includes some 2 door models which tend to run less in price. I am pricing this package deal at $4800.00
