The Motor City Pontiac-Oakland Club is asking for GMCs to be a part of their summer show. I have tentatively committed to attending, however they would like to have more than one. If you are interested in attending with your coach, please PM me. The message I received from them is as follows:

Our show the Pontiac Summer Roundup is being held at Bakers of Milford in Milford MI. The show date is July 18th. If you're from the area you may of heard of Bakers and its Sunday afternoon cruise ins. They are one of the largest cruise ins in the country. The Saturday show we are hosting is a huge bonus for us being at this location.

It would be great to have you and any other GMC motor homes that wanted to show up. There is ample parking for many. Saturday last year we hosted 130 vehicles, a small gathering given the usual crowd on Sundays for the cruise in that Bakers hold (typically 500-1000 cars). We feel the addition of your motor homes would be a unique surprise for everyone there including us from the Motor City POCI. There are more than a couple of us that follow and are very interested in owning one of these beauties. As you plan your schedule for 2015, please keep us in mind and feel free to contact myself anytime with questions or concerns. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

Best Regards,

That looks to be the same day (weekend) as the Great Lakers Rally in Midland...

Correct, which is why we're having trouble finding coaches to attend. But there are a number of owners in SE Michigan that do not belong to the Great Lakers.

I'm not a Great Laker but I also can't make it. I have plans to be in Chelsea on July 18th for the Ford/Mercury Restorers swap meet. I need some parts for the '35 Ford I'm building.

Wish I had known of this last year when planning the summer outings with
my coach. We would have planned to attend. As is we will be in Canada
that weekend. I will be looking for other GMC coaches to do the Woodward
Dream Cruise again this year. We have only had 3 in a row travel the
route a few years ago. I envision a string of GMC's on the route through
Pontiac where they where built. This event is covered by the local TV
news. I think it would be a great way to show that we are still alive
after 40 years.

Thanks Nick for trying to get several coaches to Attend their get together. It was unfortunate that it is on the same weekend as the Antique Festival rally in Midland. Again Thanks!
