electric wiper problem [message #279608]

After it is raining my electric wipers will not turn off. In fact they speed up when turned off. After everything dries out they work fine. The speedup when turned off makes me think the park feature is not working.

Any ideas or should I just swap it out. BTW when I installed it a year ago I opened up the cover over the electronics and everything was clean, w/o corrosion and the contacts looked good.
