I took of the weels again and observed following
Hope this will help determin the callper and what padds I should order

Callipers look very much the same. Rear with handbrake
Both with banjo
Rear no m arkings visible
Middle markings. 8 2607 988. And what looks like 190L
Distance between sliding pins (center to center) 5 1/2"
Distance between pad hooks 4"
Lenght of break pad 4 30/32 ?

Try this link to the calipers that TSM sells: http://www.tsmmfg.net/calipers.html

Start at the top and work your way down until you recognize your calipers.

It's got to be one of them!

well there seems to be a lot of different calipers ad none that look excactly like mine

With the measures I found it looks like it uses the pad D154 Is that a fixed standart ? (I know nothing about brakepads) or do they come in different thickness ?

Am I on the right way ?

Fairly certain these are what you have

Those TSM calipers are complete with the spring and lever. It would be less expensive to get a remanufactured caliper and reuse your levers and springs. Most of the remans don't have levers and springs included.

Cant realy see those Wally. Pictures seem to be from backside
My callipers look very much like the ones on Manny s webside. Also gmc smalll. Well they all use D154 pads

Wich do you like ? Ceramics ?

Just got another idea!

Take the pads out of all the calipers you want to replace and trace them on a thin piece of cardboard and snail mail it to JimK and
have him send you replacement pads that match.

Done like a dinner! ;-)

That's a VERY good idea because from the photo I saw, I can't recognize the
caliper. It MAY not even be one of those we're accustomed to seeing -- not
all modifications to GMC's outside the USA necessarily use GM parts.

Yes that would be failproof
I do know the parts came from the us. The po got everything there even toilet, aircon and cooker
Somewhere in my storage is even a receipt. Just noway to get there
Now these parts are readely available in europe. So I can make a drawing and take it to a shop here

Everything i own. Except for what is in Olga is in storage. That storageroom is filled to the brim. I will need 2 person to stop everything from falling out when I will open that door

Hey Guys !

The caliper that you have is the small GM metric caliper that was used on the 79 thru 85 Caddy Eldorado , i.e. the same one Manny uses on his

RA setup. It is the 2.1" diameter piston parking brake caliper , TSM has it as does Rock Auto and most auto parts stores . The piston must be

rotated and pushed at the same time in order to retract it . The pads are D154 or equivalent. Appie ; send me your email address and I'll forward

I should add, you generally only have to do this when you're changing worn out pads for new (thicker) ones.
A new or re-manufactured caliper is usually fully retracted already. With regular (non parking brake) calipers,
you can just use a big C-clamp to push the piston back into the bore. With the mechanical parking brake variety, you have to
deal with the internal non-hydraulic mechanism, hence the rotation requirement.

Evernote is great for storing and searching that kind of thing, with OCR so
your images are searchable. You might want a paid plan to load, then drop
back to free for long term. Great service and great app. Mobile too.
