There is a GMCer looking for an agreed value insurance policy in Mississippi. Any suggestions other than Miller Agency?

If he is a veteran and eligible for USAA membership, USAA sub-contracts RV policies with Progressive (yeah, I don't like that either) that will issue agreed value insurance. Mine is insured for $10k. If/when I get it running right and upgraded, I am pretty sure I can boost that value (with increased premium, I imagine).

Good Sam. I generally dislike good Sam for everything but I had a great experience with their insurance arm.

Thanks,

Allied Insurance (a division of Nationwide) will write agreed value in some states. You'll need to contact an independent agent with an Allied appointment (Allied's website should have an agent locator function). The only other possibility that I am aware of is www.blueskyrvinsurance.com/rv-insurance-coverage/specialty. You will have to call them since their online quote system only goes back as far as 1990 for model year. But they have indicated in the past that they are open to writing GMCs for agreed value.

I have done extensive research into collector car insurance programs, and none are willing to write RVs due to the fire hazard. Their policies are rated strictly for autos (and some do collector boats).

Progressive, thru USAA did do an agree value for my GMC. However, after the deductible, there is enough left to pay to have the coach towed to Man's Mall.
