Anyone have the part number for the 455 oil filter housing to block part number ? It is the one with the curved legs. All the ones at local parts stores are the straight side type which I have extra I did not use from gasket kits. Why would the Motorhomes be different?

Chuck,
That gasket can be hard to find locally. You can get them from the Jim’s for a very reasonable price. Be sure that you ask for the 455 version as the 403 gasket is slightly different.

Rock Auto shows B26607 for both 403 and 455. It shows the pic. It looks like it has curved legs.

Bob Drewes posted this on the photosite about gaskets and adapters.

Front wheel drive adapters are different than rear drive. Looks like the adapters and gaskets were different between 403 and 455 too.
Jim K has gaskets. The Felpro gasket kit I got didn't have the correct gasket.

Wally,
Thanks for finding the pictures that Drews had posted, my search did not bring them up. As I stated there is a difference between the 455 and 403 gaskets, they are NOT the same.

It looks like the 3 bolt holes are the same.

What is the difference on the oil passage holes on the block?
