It must be a very special GMCMH as it is listed as being RWD!!!
Geez, so many of these would be great values if they had Alcoa's and new tires. Otherwise you are looking at an approx $2800 hit right out of the box. As always it is a "pay now or pay later" situation.

Inspected the coach today. It has been stored under cover for the last 20 years. Needs to be power washed, but the paint looked good. The interior is OEM (green plaid) and is in very good condition. Not much money to be spent there. Would be good if you wanted to do a "stock" GMC. the headliner has been replaced with luan plywood.
The current owner (20 years) has a mechanical bent. He was working on the engine when I showed up. Put in a new distr and she purred like the big block she is. Exhaust sounded solid. Air bags are in very good shape. As it was on blocks, keeping the wheels off the ground, I did not see it move, but that should not be a problem.
The Onan looked very clean. Owner has used it as a back-up generator during storms.
The only downside. It needs new tires, like right now. Has 16.5" wheels, so there is a major concern about buying 16.5" tires, or buying 16" wheels and 16" tires. I would hope that the tires would make it to the nearest tire shop capable of doing the work, and not much further.
Front windshields did not appear to be fogged, but they really were dusty.
overhead A/C's both work, but the interior plastic is very yellow, and you would want to replace those parts.
I think that the price is very fair ($5K), and for another $3K, you would have a running safe coach. I took a few photos, but the Craig's list ad had a good collection of them. I cannot own 2.

Tom, thanks for checking it out.
Speaking to CFO tonight and if she is in, we might have found our Coach.......a 78, good white paint and the right internal layout.
First thing would be be set of 16" alloy wheels and Tyres......then slow and careful trip to either Bounds or the Guy in Georgia for brakes and fuel system upgrades.

This GMC was sold to it's new owner, Chris. It will remain in the Mobile, Al area. Another member for the Panhandle and Lower Alabama GMC work group.
Data will be passed to John as soon as I have it in one place.
Young, talented enthusiastic guy.
