Check the low oil pressure switch before digging into other stuff. They tend to leak when the generator is running. Also oil filter mount gaskets, yes there are 2.

Been learning/fixing mine in recent weeks...due to a sudden pronounced leak. One experienced owner told me the amount I was losing indicated pressure leak - which would most likely be the oil pressure sender or oil filter mount gaskets (both on side of gen to the rear of coach). The front seal does not have the same pressure apparently. Mine was profuse and the fan was blowing it down the front so I thought the front seal was bad. Turned out to be oil pressure cutoff switch (leaking through the sender, not from where it threaded in), and it got worse the longer it ran (oil thinned with heat?). Changed the switch, all fine.

To check and tighten the two bolts that hold the oil filter mount, the best tip I found on the forum archives was to use what is called a distributor wrench to reach the bolts. I picked one up for $5. You have to remove the side cover to do the two bolts and oil pressure sender. The flywheel and several covers are removed to do the front seal.

John, Just check the oil filter adapter mounting bolts and see that they are tight. Then closely check the pressure switch and the oil filter itself. I was convinced that my front seal was bad when it was not.
