check the LEDs.
May have failed during the test.

John,
Actually it is a BIG DEAL. LED’s are polarity sensitive! That means that the center pin of the socket must be the positive or + off the DC power. If you have hitched them up so the positive or + is on the outside case they will NOT work and you may have damaged them beyond repair. You may get lucky and they may work when you get the polarity correct. I used to sell the LED marker lights for several years and the first sheet of paper was a warning in big bold letters on correct polarity. I checked all light assemblies before shipping. It is amazing how many people DO NOT READ the instructions.

And always remember...In a DC circuit the electron flows from the negative to the positive...neg loses the electron pos gains the electron...

Not necessary to remember that. The point of the diode in the drawing is the direction of current flow as standardized worldwide - positive to negative. It bothered me briefly in engineering school that current is defined as the direction that a positive charge flows (also called a "hole" because it is a lack of an electron), but put it out of your mind permanently as less than useless knowledge. It only further confuses folks that consider themselves "electrically challenged" and serves no useful purpose.

DC flow is from positive to negative. Period. Don't muddy the waters. A diode (even the light-emitting type) is an electric check valve. It points in the direction that it will allow current to flow.

My problem is that the electrons aren't flowing anywhere. I pulled the LEDs and switched back to the original bulbs for troubleshooting.

Conventional versus electron flow...sorry my physicist side is showing...solid state is making a come back...
