For the 455, we're looking for carb #'s '7045244' or '7043251', right? Any other qjet part numbers that will work as a core for us?

RC,
Just looked up the carb numbers for coaches 73 thru 78 in the GMC Parts Interchange. This is what they have listed! If others have other numbers, by all means post your list here.
Check your carb numbers, they should have the following numbers.
455 motors
73 -74 NON HEI 7047354 & 7047254 I question these numbers as the 4th digit should indicate the year and in this case should be a 3 or 4
75 - 77 HEI NON Cal. 7047554 & 7045254
75 - 77 HEI Cal. 70447555 & 7045554
403 Motors
77 HEI Cal. 17055155, 17057559 & 17058559
77 HEI NON Cal. 17055154 & 17057254

The Toronado 7043252 can be used, it is identical to the 7043254 except for the jets, rods and power valve spring, and you will have to enlarge the holes in the primary butterflies

I've been tuning my search engine for qjets and th425s for about a week now. The "flow" on CL is pretty strong. Unfortunately, few sellers give the part#. Here's the last 8 hours from the lower 48:

We have a program where we can take in a non GMC carb as long as the
throttle arm is identical to the GMC as we do have a uy that has been
successful at putting in correct parts and mods to perform.
Give me a call and we can work with you.
