I have a 6000 KW generator. I was running the generator for about an hour when it just stopped. I tried to restart and it would start then when I released the start button it stopped.
If I hold the primer button in it continues to run, release the primer button it stops. The fuel pump runs fine when I engage the primer button. The circuit board is only a year old. The gas tanks are full and so is the oil. Could it be the oil pressure switch and is there a way to test the switch.
