Be sure and scroll down to see the dash cam video of the 18 wheeler that he was blowing past when his left front tire blew out. You can see the blown tire in the first photo where it is on its side.

Scary wreck...he was going too fast imo. It's lucky he did not hit anything in the oncoming lane.

I see these folks in diesel pushers just flying down the road and have often wondered how many of them have any idea how to react in an emergency. When I was a stupid kid in high school, I was asked to drive a school bus. I also drove to a junior college the following couple years. About 100,000 miles in all with up to 60 kids on the bus. (I'm still amazed that I never had a wreck...) Sometime during period, they had a seminar on how to handle blowouts. I never had one and can't say I would handle it correctly but at least I understand what should be done.

Anyway, here is an interesting video on what to do if you have a blowout.
