Cockpit floor - anything besides carpet? [message #277668]

Getting ready to rip up the carpet in the cockpit and replace it but trying to decide what to use. I had thought of self-stick carpet squares over some sound deadening mat but I have Pergo in the living area and wonder about using it in the cockpit too. Any photos, advice, opinions?
