Hi All.

I posted my desire to sell my GMC here previously, but only had a few requests for parts. I actually need to sell the unit and let someone else do the parting or repairing if desired. I have just posted it on Ebay with pictures. It needs quite a bit of work, but hopefully someone will decide to fix it up and use it.

Thank you

Phil.

A link to your ebay listing and your location will make it easier for people to connect the information and your coach.

Hardly worth the starting bid.

Assuming it's close and you have a means to haul and store it, the wheels alone should be worth that starting price.

Mac,

They're not aluminum wheels they're hub caps.

I agree. The awning if it's any good would be worth some money as well. But only, as you said, if you are close, didn't need to pay to haul or store it, and were willing to find a way to dispose of it when done or you are inclined to do the work to bring it back yourself. Interesting at the opening bid and maybe up to $1000 if someone was looking for parts or a big project.

Well damn....you just devalued mine...it may not look as nice as that one in or out and always needs some assorted repairs. Thought it would be worth something if I preserved it, but now since it needs repair after the Bean Station trip, it's only worth the set of new tires... Sad

I was about to say, even though I appear to be going against the water, but I didn't think that was such a bad coach. If the frame is solid it sure could be better that what I started with, appearance wise. I paid 9K. Of course my engine was relatively new... but by 24K I had to replace it. So much for a "new engine".

I am within striking distance and have a spare set of tires and wheels. Would have to run it on a remote marine gas tank. Might be worth the spare drive train. The leaking radiator is a problem unless JB Weld could get it home. I would also have to get a new wife.

To anyone interested.

I can now verify that the Onan is running from a gas can, it had some corrision on the fuse, I also burnished the relay contacts. The roof A/C is also working and putting out cold air.

It has about 9 hours to go. The city wants it out of my yard, so it has to go immediately. I hate to see it go to the junk yard. I think some on the forum have started with a lesser equipped unit .

Thank you.

Phil.
