I have a 78 Kingsley with a bad leveling compressor,hoping to replace with
wireless system, there was power to the old unit, I did not cut any wire
just unplugged, now I can't find any power in the big brown wire that went
to the old compressor .were did I lose the original power.

the fuse is in the dash behind the door. Very top one should be a 30 amp circuit breaker. They are available at Napa and maybe others. A glass fuse will work but not recommended.

Yes, in the glove box behind the panel that is secured with a Phillips screw.

the fuse is good,any suggestion where i can look next thanks for your help

Are you sure the fuse is actually making contact in the clips? Sometimes those glass fuses have continuity but are not contacting in the clips.
