Is the Sanden compressor mentioned in the other AC thread, the compressor someone told me about that stole very little horse power from the engine? It seems like they said it was from a Volvo.

Yes. Sanden is a Japanese manufacturer whose products are used on a wide
variety of vehicles, including at least 80's & 90's Volvo's. There are a
number of clones, primarily, of course, from China (as Sandens may also be
today).
They come in several different displacements with different numbers of
pistons. There's a good Sanden manual available at their web site --
Google knows where that is.
