I bought a new adjustable drag link made by Rare Parts and it seems to be miss machined. The tie rod end protrudes through the pitman arm too far. The threads don't extend all the way to the pitman arm flat area because the machined smooth taper extends through the arm. This in turn reduces the thread engagement of the nut about 40%. The cotter pin ends up about 1/8" above the nut. I tried putting a spacer under the nut but don't like the idea of altering a steering component. Just wondering if anyone else has bought this item and had the same issue or if it's just a unique machining problem?
Thanks, Hal
