Thanks for the responses last week. I picked up a scrap piece of stainless steel at the local welder and installed the new stand for the Firestone Air Compressor (part # WR1-760-9285)
Any suggestions on where to place the "Remote Inlet Filter Air Line"? or can I just plug it right into the unit? seems like that might work fine, just not sure which direction to face the inlet filter- guessing to the rear?
Thanks, JT

When my Firestone compressor lunched, I installed a VaAir and tagged the remote inlet filter on the pedal box under the driver's side hood flap. I usually don't know it's running except the LO AIR light comes on.
