Just finished a "down and back" 400 mile round trip. Coach ran like a dream. Other than family reunion the trip got me near the tire shop I like best. I got four more Toyo tires (replacing those having 46K on them). This time I made sure the tread going on was H/T rather than A/T. The last "tire joint" put on A/Ts, on the front, which made me grumpy but by then I needed to get moving and didn't argue. Should have taken time and argued...
The A/Ts are now on the middle bogies where they should wear nicely. Meanwhile having a nice normal tread up front made the coach quietly. Love a quiet, smooth ride. Felt like a king, up there, gliding along.
