I can't find any reference to the heater core water shut-off valve in the Interchange manual. I might be looking right at it. Any suggestions on interchange parts? And no, I don't care about opinions on manual valves or any of that stuff.

In the GMCMI Spring 2014 Parts Interchange Index it is in the section Heater & Air Cond. and it is called a Heater Temperature Valve. Its on page 23. There are 7 parts listed in addition to the original GM parts number.

I thought that would be it but when I brought up the Napa numbers, I got the vacuum selector in the dash control. I stopped at that point but should check the rest.

As for a heater core shut off valve this is what I use to shut off coolant flow during the summer.

Bob this same valve is used on other GM cars. One is the 80's Turbo Regals. My friend Glen has them at Www.highwaystars.net. Genuine ACDelco.

The last time I replaced mine (maybe 10 years ago) I took what was on it and had a guy at Autozone rummage around to find one with the same size and configuration of the hose fittings. I recall it was off a Ford. These days hardly anyone behind the counter will do that anymore so I thought I'd try to get a head start
