Hi all:
We were doing regular maintenance on our coach (77 Kingsley) and the fuel pump came up in discussion. We have no idea when it was replaced by the previous owner, so it's at least 3-4 years old (could be 20 years old, we don't know). I know there are some that are for and against replacing it just as peace of mind, mainly from degradation from ethanol, etc. But... my question is how much work is it to replace the mechanical fuel pump on the 403? I was looking and the AC compressor sits right next to it, so I can't tell if the fuel pump will come out on its own without having to remove something else first. I thought I'd ask before we attempt it, just to see if there are any tricks.
Still not sure if we'll replace it just because or let it go and deal with it if and when it became a problem.
Thanks!!
