The can of Duracool says to turn the can upside down for the initial charge then crank it up add more if needed. Do you still put in liquid with the engine running?

I'm changing to a Sanden compressor and manual for it says to only add gas to the low side with it running or risk damaging the compressor valves.

Any thoughts guys?
Thanks,

Always add it as a liquid even with the engine running. It will do no harm to your compressor and the add gas with it running only pertains to R12 or R134a. You are just fine with the Duracool can upside down when filling.
